How to Master almost Anything in Life through Gamification

Chou Notes

Printers suck.

I’ve had some decent successes in my life in a variety of tasks/hobbies/work that I do.

The three things that can get you to do something well:

1) Confidence
2) Concentration
3) Condition

Also, for preparation work, you need to

1) Always be self-reflecting
2) Always be strategizing (or optimizing)
3) Always be learning from people who do it better

If you master these things, this can help you SIGNIFICANTLY boost your level at anything you do, from playing games, consulting on gamification, doing a hobby, personal skills, to even getting girls icon razz How to Master almost Anything in Life through Gamification

I used to suck at almost everything I do until I figured some of this out. Now I’m good at a lot of things (not everything), or at least I quickly get good at the things I’m serious about. It’s not really about being smart, but it’s about mastering a system. The key is “Doing it well” so the way you do it is more important than your intelligence.

Hope this helps and more tips will be awesome in the comment section!

"It’s not really about being smart, but it’s about mastering a system. The key is “Doing it well” so the way you do it is more important than your intelligence." ...and thinking about our last conversation again it's about 'learning' (mastering) and meaning (...more important than your intelligence) ;-)

Hi, Yukai, Ya, I understand that verified check-in is important. But I think we cannot ignore the fact that the product is directly competing against "facebook deals". I think the "checkin" space is getting pretty hot now, and you will see tons of competition swamping into the space in a very short timeframe. I think your team is very talented, will follow your story in this blog. Very best to you.

Hi, Yukai, Your new startup rewardmeapp.com sounds promising and have a quite solid revenue model. However, I was also wondering, how are you going to compete with "facebook places" and also what if "foursquare" put in the same features as your app.

Wow, You actually are paying attention to what I'm doing :) Our key is that we provide hardware that 100% gaurantees a verified check-in :D

Hi, Yukai, I think you should definitely do a season 2 for the show. The show is truely unique as I have never watched anything like this before in YouTube. Probably some TV channels will soon copy the idea

Hi, Yukai, All of you are very inspiring. Also found out about the video "Living a startup life". Had been watching all the episodes, should be on TV reality show.

Hahaha, that was a fun project! It was like 2 years ago though. It took a lot of time and had less ROI so we didn't continue it :( We want to though.

Hey Joe, Thanks for your encouragement. It's been rough doing startups again and again, but as you said, I'm very lucky to have a great team of people who are persistent with me to change the world. Also, for every startup that didn't pan out, we manage to push the envelope further on the next one. One day we will succeed :)

Hi, Yukai, I also admire your courage and determination to overcome all the barriers and work on one startup after the other. And you are indeed super lucky to have a great team together, its very difficult to find talented people and also those that you can trust to be in your team.

Awesome video Yu-Kai. Yeah, i agree with your points. if you want to be good at what you do you must learn how to strategize! to be a strategist is not a sin. Also working with people who are smarter than you will help you break new grounds. Keep up the good work bro! Have fun.... PS: Hope you get my mail?? Thanks a lot.

Hi, Yukai. Really enjoyed your video, this one was more fun. I normally watch all the videos you posted. But it also kept me wondering, what will happen to viralogy.com now that you all have switched focus to rewardme.

Hey Joe! Thanks for being so kind to watch all the things I throw out :) It's people like you that motivate me to post more even though I'm always behind my company to-do items :( RewardMe is under the company Viralogy Inc. We are keeping our existing service but we won't aggressively be pushing it out anymore but will mostly take inbound customers. :D
